Confidentiality Agreement when Divorce Happens and a Business Is Present

I’m currently in the process of divorcing a spouse with a business that was established during the marriage of 27 years. My husband is postponing releasing his financials with the company until all parties sign a Proposed Confidentially Agreement. Why is he requesting this? Is it necessary? Is it possible that he may have been untruthful in his business dealings?

The necessity of the Confidentiality Agreement is that your husband does not want important information regarding his business and those finances used or spread in any way. This could mean he has been untruthful on previous paperwork. You should advise an attorney to help you in this matter.
