Can same-sex daters use chivalry principles to weed out dates?

Some may think that chivalry is dead, and others may think it just does not apply to same-sex daters. However, according to one Canadian-based TikTok influencer, one chivalry principle can help all West Palm Beach daters weed out bad potential spouses, regardless of gender.

Which chivalry principle?

The principal is that the guy “should” always pay. It is the idea that it is the man’s duty to pay for their woman, which begins at the very first Jupiter date.

What does that mean for the rest of us?

Simply put, the Canadian TikTok-famous divorce attorney recommends that everyone offer to pay for their first date, regardless of who initiated the date or their gender. Why? Because how that person reacts on a first date can tell you who they are, or at the very least, if they are definitely not marriage material.

Which reactions are red flags?

In a word, entitlement. If the reaction that the other person has is one of, “of course, you are paying,” or something similar, this is a huge red flag. Think about it this way. If, at this point, on your first date, when the two of you barely know each other, they already feel entitled to your money, what else will they feel entitled to, should you proceed with a relationship with this person. Remember, who a person is on their first Melbourne date is often who they think is their best self. So, if their best self is entitled, their true self is likely even worse. Run, and run fast. It could be the best $50 you ever spend because it could prevent a very costly Florida divorce later.
